Would a second floor slab work w/ thermosiphon?

I'm planning on having a 4" thick concrete slab as my second floor. If I have solar collectors that are below it, will the thermosiphon effect keep the fluid moving without needing pumps? I'd have some sort of thermostatically controlled valve to shut it off when the slab reached a certain temperature.
