Reasonably priced pumps are CI and their flanges too. Is galvanic corrosion with connection to copper piping a problem? I understand dielectric couplers often end up leaking... Would be closed system with oxygen barrier PEX if that makes any difference (doubt it with galvanic corrosion). Thanks John

Don't mix metal component materials if you want to avoid galvanic corrosion. While oxygen barrier PEX won't do much to mitigate galvanic corrosion, it should always be used in hydronic systems to mitigate normal corrosion issues.
