I have a stack of full sheet Warmboards (The real thing and never installed) that was designed to cover 400 sq ft. (approx 24x16ft. It was supposed to go in the loft but since the warmboards from the main floor works so well, I decided not to use it. I am willing let it go for half price per sheet. $140?? instead of $280 per sheet. All or nothing. If you are near the Eastern Sierras in California I will deliver them for free. Otherwise it will be pick up. If you are wondering how good they work. They work great. Fast heating and quiet. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm reading this old post as I'm thinking again about using Warmboard and in the past couple years I have usually heard ~$192.00 per sheet, $6.00 per sf.

If $8.75 is the norm I'll not be able to justify the price.

Anyone out there have any idea of today's cost for Warmboard?

The Architect I'm working with said that it's to expensive to use vs gyp-crete.

I say cyp-crete takes to long to warm up & cool down and requires a high temp boiler system.

Both are viable products. Gypcrete gives the savvy designer/installer more flexibility in design and zoning. Design water temperature is influenced by several factors, but the thermal qualities of Gypcrete is usually the least of them.

Warmboard is an excellent product and made easy for the DIY crowd as factory support is conspicuously available to anyone.

Warmboard has never been $280 a sheet.

Pricing varies with the size of the order- from $5.99 to $6.59 psf ($182-$211 per sheet). Frankly, when all associated costs are added up; every quality hydronic radiant system, installed and ready to live in, are within a couple bucks psf of each other. Which is least costly depends on the specifics of a particular job...sometime Warmboard is the least, sometimes something else will be.

Hi, I'm new to this thread, but I just wanted you to know I've got a lot of Warmboard left from a project that went belly up when the banks puckered up. I use a fair amount of Warmboard in my business as a solar energy contractor, but I need to get my money out of this if I can find someone who needs it. I have: 33 straights,17 lefts,17 rights, 46 doubles. Was supposed to go in a motel. Also have 17 filler sheets. All new, stored indoors from day one. Will work with interested party on the freight issue. $176/sheet.

Forgot to say, the Warmboard filler sheets that we have surplus of are $48.00 each. These sheets are the same thickness as the warmboard, with the same T&G edges, but no tube grooves, and no aluminum sheet.

Concerning the post by me on 2-10-10 the warmboard has all been sold except for 8 double turn sheets, and 14 filler sheets. Those are still availabe at the price stated on 2-10. Thanks!
