Anybody switch the end fittings on TruFlow Jr manifolds? I've got a location where it makes much more sense to switch the ends and have the supply and return on the other side. Looking inside the supply and return unions it appears these could be unscrewed using a large hexagonal driver (like 1" allen wrench). If so I could do this with a coupler nut which is about 2" long. Anyway if anyone has done this I would be interested to know how and if any issues. PS how do you insert paragraph breaks? My postings have no line breaks or anything. John

Sorry, we only use Uponor and Rifeng manifolds because we get them at cost from our affiliate because we purchase so many. Most manifolds can be reversed and the manufacturer should have instructions for properly doing so. You should be able add paragraphs by simply hitting the Enter key on your keyboard twice. You can also paste the HTML code for a new paragraph which is a less than sign, followed by "BR", followed by a forward slash, followed by a greater than sign, followed by less than sign, followed by "BR", followed by a forward slash, followed by a greater than sign.

Yes you can switch ends on the TruFlow manifolds, made by Uponor--formally known as Wirsbo.

We sell so many they give them to us for free, or is it because we know what they are?

True enough…we don’t use the old brass Wirsbo manifolds, only the stainless steel Uponor and Rifeng manifolds. I am not surprised that the old Wirsbo manifold products can be had for free...but we still wouldn't use them or sell them.

Badger, so am I right that you just unscrew with large hex tool? Is there a gasket or thread coating like Loctite or similar? Thanks. John.

It is a fiber gasket, European style.
