Here is another positive review of my geo system.
I have a 5-ton WF Envision Dual Unit coupled to an open loop supplied with water from my well pump (a 3/4hp 16gpm supplying both my domestic water, and water for my WF.)

Comparing my energy consumption, year over year

Oct-Mar 2007-08 to Oct-Mar 2008-09

Total electrical consumption has increased by 5,000kwh (or +$600 at current rates)
Total propane consumption has decreased by 5,500litres (or -$3800 at current rates)
Heating degree days increased by 500hdd during that time.

Total energy consumption went down by $3200

So I must say, I am a happy customer  :)

One area, where I think improvement may be found, is in the pumping. Since I only have 1 supply well, and it provides my domestic water as well as supplying my geo furnace as 12gpm. My current pump, like most water pumps, is horribly inefficient, at almost 1.5kw.

Does anyone know if it is possible to t-off from my current supply line and add a small pump to run the furnace, using the check valve at the bottom of the submersible as the check valve for the pump supply line?
When the domestic water calls for the submersible pump, there will be a positive pressure on the back of the furnace pump, but other than that I can't seem to see an issue. Any ideas?

Here are two drawings of my current and proposed systems

I'm not a well driller, but I know there are variable speed pumps available.

Incidently, you disguised your question under a heading that didn't suggest you had a question. I didn't notice it until I read your comment in a different thread.
My expertise is closed loop, so while I am delighted that your experience has been good for you, I hadn't read your thread.
May I humbly suggest that if you have a question your thread title reflects that? I'm sure I'm not the only guy here that doesn't read every last thread, but I do read every title and answer questions if I'm able.
Good Luck,
Joe
