I have a newly installed Waterfurnace Series 7 with aurora performance monitoring. After some corrections, I have good energy monitoring (i.e., my thermostat reports the energy usage) for the compressor, fan, and auxiliary heat, but I have nothing for the pump. (My pump is a GeoLink Flow Center FCV1-GL.)

Could someone point me to the instructions for correctly connecting the energy monitoring? (If it's in one of the obvious manuals, could you point me to the page or section because I couldn't find it in them.) Should the proper current transducer be somewhere with the equipment already? I didn't see one.

(I would bug my contractor, but I've already had several problems with them and they already had hooked up the energy monitoring for the fan and auxiliary heat incorrectly, which I fixed. This way I can make sure it's done correctly.)

Thanks.

You have to tell the Aurora system what pump you have installed with the AID tool. It does not actually measure the watts. It calculates an estimate based on speed running and pump model chosen in setup.

Thanks a ton for this, by the way. It was exactly what I needed to hear. Perfect.
