Hey guys, I have been manually adjusting my water temps for my radiant as needed according to the outside temps. Is there a device that can automatically adjust this? example; outside is 50deg. my water temp in floor at 70deg. outside drops to 40deg. I want water temp at 80deg. outside at 30deg. water temp at 90deg. you get what im looking for. Is this out there? Radiant temp is controlled by my geo so water temp is adjusted by changing temp of my geo storage tank controller.

Depending on the complexity of your piping infrastructure, there are several products available that you could employ.

I would suggest starting with the Taco PC-700 series controller. That will do outdoor reset for you very well.

If you have the opportunity to adjust your piping system, Tekmar has a plethora of controllers which will save you money and energy on water temperatures.

Thanks Teshj314, I have a digital control that tells my geo to turn on and off depending on my chosen temp. it uses a thermistor on the water tank. What I was looking for was one with 2 thermistors that would do the tank and the outdoor temp. Then have a center value and as 1 drops, the other increases. say I set it at 65, when it drops out side 5 degrees it would go up 5 degrees on the water side and so on....I have heard of such things in solar but have no experience with solar. was hoping someone here did and knew what I was talking about.

any control that has the wording "outdoor reset" in its description shouldl work. The best for the job will also state a compatibilty with geothermal. Like Tesh said Tekmar has lots of controllers for this

Awesome geodude, does anyone have a recommendation on model I should use? maybe something with a an optional setting of difference. outdoor down 1 degree and indoor up 1.5 degree instead of 1:1 ratio... or something like that. I would like to have an option of swing from out to in.

You usually control the temp with defining the outdoor and indoor design temperature. That defines the steepness and the temperature (kind of the shift to the left or right) of the curve.
