Has anyone tried or installed the Natural Floors Locking Bamboo flooring?  It is sold by Lowe's and I can find next to no reviews on it...I have read about 9...1/2 love it, 1/2 hate it...any thoughts?

I suggest buying a sample piece and try scratching and denting it. Then throw it in some water for a few days to see what happens when it gets wet and then drys out again.

Agreed. You can read as many reviews and talk to as many people as you like, but when it comes down to it, it is about what you think is quality and the only way to do so is with the sample piece.  Put it through some wear and tear for a while and see where that leaves you.

That is a great idea...I already bought a sample...I have used a pen and a battery and pressed really hard and dented it...but the hardwood sample did the same. It doesn't look like the dents scratched the finish, but it is dented...what kind of things would I use to try and dent, or would any kind of hardwood dent? Also, when you say put it in water...would that mean submerge it or leave water on the surface? Thanks for your input.

I submerged it completely for a few days and then let it dry. Most bamboo flooring did much better than laminated wood.

Put on some very sharp pointed high heels and then carry around as many concrete blocks as you can carry :-).

If you want flooring to use in the shower with spiked shoes - use ipe wood.
