Does anyone know if and when Texas will ever have a tax credit for solar on residential homes? Kinda bs that there isn't one already.

I believe Texas is both a red state and an oil state. Why would you expect your elected government representatives to give up the wealth they receive from the fossil fuel companies to improve the environment? I grew up in Austin Texas and I left as soon as I could drive a car.

Well I'm red and an oil man, but I still want a solar credit. Nothing to do with each other.
Louisiana has a 50% credit. Red and oil there.
