24" OC 2x6 framing for 16"OC joists possible?

I am adding an addtion to my house that will be single story with a shed roof. I jsutr finished my subfloor with 16"OC joists. Is it possible to go with 24" OC framing above that? Thanks for any input.

Depends on your area wind/snow load requirements. 2X4 or 2X6 framing? Prescriptive tables should get you close to a suitable answer for your conditions...
