I am interested in distributing the best in wind and solar products. We don't sell any now and would most like up-and-coming products and ones not readily available in Minnesota. Any suggestions?

The first thing I would pick up is a line of solar airheaters.  There are several to chose from.   these seem to be a good product that works and has very little moving parts and low complexity.

Cheers,

How do solar air-heaters work in very cold climates? For example we currently have no temperature, it is zero. Do you have any brand recommendations?

the only ones I have actualy put my hands on are the one listed below which I installed in my house.
I don't think the panels are going to be very effective when it is zero F.  It should be 1/2 way between zone c and zone D in the performance tables from the SRCC
Solar Panels are rated by the SRCC.  You can calculate their effectiveness as a function of outside temperature.

The good news is the colder the temp, the longer the heating season and the effectiveness is much higher in the shoulder seasons.

When I do the math for where I live, with the rated efficiency of the collector I get around 7 million BTU's per year from my double panel system.   this equates to about 80 gallons of propane per year or about 1/3-1/4 of the  total heat load  required.  I will admit the payback is still tough to justify unless you think energy prices are going to rise signifigantly, which I do.

If your looking for a hot air panel we have use one made by Environmental Solar:

The guy who builds these is a mere genius and holds some major pattens.  Also builds solar coffee dryers and ships to South America.  Hope that helps!

This company is the 2nd largest thermal panel manufacturer in Europe behind Green One and ahead of Chromagen.  You can check out this link on You Tube....if nothing else I like the music!
