Hello, is using a Solar Water Pump a viable option for a 2200 sq. ft home?  I have a guy that is building ICF and will be looking at a Solar Array to run his non gas appliances.  He asked me about Lorentz Solar Water Pumps.  I know they have been used for a long time with rave results for remote cabins, cattle ranches, etc, but are they a viable option for residential water supply for a family of 4?

Their power usage is rather low compared to a traditional water pump and they do marry with solar well, but in this type of application I am lost.

Any feedback is appreciated.
