A sales rep from Hunter Douglas windows told me about these guys. Apparently they have a decent quality motorized window covering. A 9ft wide system installed is $900 but closer to $600 when you order for a entire project. Any opinions?

I think they just do motors and automation, not the blinds themselves.

Another option is Somfy.  My company has used them on commercial projects.

Thanks Bruce. I visited them at the home show and they do the actual covering as well. the price I quoted was for the entire system. Have you heard anything about the company? It seems like a small operation but sound like a good value option if the product is decent quality which I cant confirm.

I had never heard of Rose Sun until your post, but it looks interesting.

My build will likely need external blinds to deal with SW sun exposure (where the views are), so I am interested in motorized solutions, too.
