Anyone have experience with Sierra Pacific windows and doors? I am considering them for our new house. Aluminum clad clear fir at a price that is closer to vinyl then one would imagine.

thanks in advance for any input

Drew

I've heard of them but haven't really seen too much of them in the field. One would be surprised on how many "window companies" that are out there. Best bet would be to do a Google search and see what you come up with.

What are their energy numbers like? Double pane or triple pane?

SP is quite popular in my market.  They offer 100% Douglas Fir construction like Loewen, but the fit and finish isn't the same.

Kinda clunky looking, some odd design choices such as the rails running longer than the stiles.  Odd indeed.

When on a budget, I'd choose them over something like Pella or Jeld Wen.

But I'd rather have Marvin or Loewen.
