Buyer Beware!!!

Before you buy Thermotech, Ottawa, Canada, you might be interested in talking to us.  Bought 5 years ago,  windows delivered damaged, not repaired as of this date, paint failed, 90% have been repainted this year,   9 windows have failed, not replaced yet, so many emails and calls have been made to no avail.....promises and promises....and we are still looking at damages on a daily basis and they tell us they just cannot afford to replace the windows that have failed, and finish the painting.  Feel free to email us for a phone number and we can talk. chardy spectrumnetworks.___

Anybody still monitoring this thread? I, too bought Thermotech windows in 2005 and some of them have been failing - same problem, no response to calls, voice mails, email, or even the BBB. I'm thinking of engaging a lawyer and teaming up would definitely help. Are class action lawsuits possible in Canada (I'm in the US)? Email me at [email protected].

Class actions are far less common in Canada and I think you will find many (if not all) window companies will have problems from time to time especially if they are being run close to capacity as i suspect Thermotech is. I would tread lightly.
