Has anyone used radiant glass in their windows? Seems like a great idea for large glass walls or doors.

Thanks

They have uses in special applications, mostly commercial, but why would you ever use them in a residence? You'd have to show us how they would be more efficient.

A house with an open floor plan that contain a large wall of glass or a large exterior bifold door may be a candidate. The radiant glass would provide a surface for radiant to be used. I do not sell or represent any product I am a general contractor building a timber frame with the aforementioned situation exploring radiant glass. I am not advocating for or against radiant glass. I was simply attempting to see if anyone has had any experience with radiant glass.

Putting a heat generating surface that close to the cold outside with the minimal resistance a window offers would result in a huge waste of heat.
