41 degrees latitude, 4400 HDD, NoCal coastal property (Trinidad 95570), rainy in winter months, temperate, avg lows upper 30s in winter (but can get below freezing).
No AC planned, avg highs in July/Aug is lower to mid 70s
2x6 outer walls, wrapped in sheet foam, blown in cellulose outer walls and attic ceiling, 3-4' crawls space blown expanding foam under floor sheathing in crawl space.
Hopefully windows with a ufactor in the mid 20s
Can anyone help with ideas and recommendations for an HRV or proper ventilation? Not as much concerned about recovering heat, as quality of air movement and fresh air exchange, stale air exhausting, and humidity leveling, mold mitigation. Should I post this elsewhere? |
