Hi! I was wonderng if anyone is familiar with Stage Smoke and its use with a "positive pressure check" while doing a blower door test? I had seen this on one of the TV shows/documentaries when checking for leaks and insect/bat entry points. The smoke blows out through leaks and then these spots are marked and fixed. I have a two story bungalow style lake home--3 season with walk out basement--that needs upgrading. I also suspect insects and bats have gotten in somewhere? Since the bat problem needs to be fixed and heating A/C upgraded I would like to do this all at one time. I am not ready to begin major remodeling in the interior at this point with the exception of the kitchen area. I may be interested in doing the test myself (going room by room) and want to get ahold of Stage Smoke dispenser. From reading the forums I may be able to use box fan and make my own blower unit. Any advice would be helpful...thanks. Great website.
