Check this out.....will this make the typical, formed brickledge obsolete?

no because the steel will cost as much as a brickledge.

Perhaps, but the headaches of forming out a ledge, rebar, transitions, etc, may be eliminated.

Absolutely not! This will not work in most Northern states because it creates a frost lip. Brick-ledge forms are simple to work with any ways and is more practical, with this system above your relying on another source.
