Harbor Freight has a concrete vibrator for $199 ( http://www.harborfreight.com/ ). These are Chinese with a 1 7/16 head on a 14 foot shaft. I realize the quality is not going to be the same as a $1000 vibrator.  I can not find anything to rent that has a head smaller than 1 1/2 inches. I could buy this for less than rental charges. If I was using a vibrator all the time I wouldn't even consider it but my delima is I will probably only use it on one job. Anybody used one of these?

This may work but the ACI recommends something that spins at 11,000 RPM.
