New to ICF and SIP's differences, but I am planning a house and would like to incorporate either ICF or SIP construction. Can anyone point me to some websites, spec sheets, opinions, costs, advantages and disadvantages etc...? Looking to do a lot myself and have had some slight experience with ICF's but do not know what is the best for your dollar. I was leaning towards ICF cause I have had some interaction with this but do not want to rule out anything. Trying not to use the typical WOOD house construction. Will probably not have a 100% wood free home but I like the idea of walls, possibly subfloor and roof being made from something other then wood. ? |
