Has anyone dealt with such an application with ICF? Would be interested in knowing which method works best. Buildings are within inches of each other and require fire rating of 2 hours.

Thanks in Advance

I haven't worked on zero lot lines since my days in Toronto, but as for the two hour rating, ICF is not a problem, any respectable manufacturer has done the tests and studies and a 6" wall rates between 3 and 4 hours depending on certain criteria which is all available from your distributor

I have not dealt with zero lot line, what are the exact issues that need to be dealt with? I am guesing one would be finish applications on the exterior of the ICFs? (between the buildings)

Thanks.

Except your talking about 3-4 inches if that. One application suggested was a approved fire compound applied on the ICF as you install.
Another which is rejected by some officals, is to enclose the wall system vertically with a fire rated material and cap the top. Just looking to see if anyone has had experience in this area. Either from the design side, or construction side.
thanks for your input.
