New construction, I'm intending ICF all the way to the roof line (one of QuadLock, TF, or Nudura).  A Tuscan-style, the roof line is sufficiently complicated that I'm thinking of assembling my own "SIPS" by framing OSB on trusses, and blowing in polyurethane THICK (like 14"-16").  I'm intending cement shingles.

This is a two-story-plus-walkout-basement house, and I'd *like* to have multiple "deck" areas on the roof, that logically act *as* the roof.  For example, I'd have a deck over the garage, and deck areas at high points on the roof, similar to the "Widow's Walk" that used to be common on houses along the coast.

I've thought about some of the concrete "deck systems" (e.g., Quad-Deck, Lite-Deck), and like the idea of the concrete hip roof seen in these forums, but don't know if I can tie them into the roof well or if they are cost effective.

If I go "simple", I'm thinking about something like an EPDM or rubber roof liner on a slight slope, and merely build a Trex deck on top (have to be careful to support the deck *around* the liner, and not on *top* of the liner).

What are your suggestions for integrated decks/roofs?  In this project, I'd actually want at least four or more "deck levels" integrated into my roof.
