Any of you guys ever built a ICF pool?

I have done a few and was wanting to see how any of you guys might have done the pool bottom?
Is there a reason in a normal  pool that they put such a slope from the walls to the floor of the pool?

I've seen one - haven't done one. My father installed many pools in his day - the slope bottom often was a result of the liner limitation; fewer joints the better and it was easier to fit the liner. All the "tiled" or "concrete" pools had 90 degree corners at the base (no liner....). Of course this was 30 years ago. Maybe there are different reasons today...

Thanks

That is the only reason I could think of. That slope always makes me think WHY when I am in a pool. I would not think it would be there for strength

Built a 40x80 icf pool this summer with 3ft shallow & 8ft deep end. Used 6inch nudura block. Wall straightened and lots of rebar...15 mil verticals. Also built lateral support walls for water pressure outbound . cement floor with Vinyl liner

Is your pool above ground?

Wow, Newbieicfer, that's a big pool. Traditional pool builders around here would want well over 200,000 dollars for that. I'm guessing you didn't get even close to that price?
