Anyone out there have personal experience with Grailcoat or some of the other modified stucco finishes? I'm going with a Mediterranean style for the ICF house I'm planning and am looking at my options for stucco. I want to go with something flexible to minimize cracking. I've gone through old posts, found a couple people who seem to like the product, and a couple who think it is garbage. I know the proper installation is essential to get a good end result, so lets assume the product is installed correctly. Besides Grailcoat, what are other leading flexible stucco finishes out there? Specifically I am in the Dallas area, so high UV exposure, high temperatures with moderate temperature swings and only occasional freezing are the norm. Thanks in advance for all comments.

I second the stucco max. Most trades fight change, so find one you can work with. Heavy mesh and trowel finish is almost bullet proof.
