I have read the tubes of adhesive and see no other suggested uses for this adhesive other than SIPS.  Any chance I can use it for something?  Wood to wood?  Throw it away?  I have a case plus.

Thanks.

The panel mastic is more of a sealant than it is an adhesive. You don't want to use it to try and bond things together. Won't your supplier purchase it back from you ?

I've also used it for external sealing. Where walls butt each other, I run a bead up that inside corner and it always seems to be a spot where the seal isn't as tight as I like it. Sills are the biffest weak point in respects of sealing in SIP systems. I religiously, run a bead at the inside and outside where the cripple is attached to the trimmer. Always seems to be a small gap at that location.

If you're building more projects, use it to seal under your plates.

Thanks Panel Guy. Good points, I will use it as a sealant. I know I have plenty of places to do that.

You can use the PL Premium adhesive. It does the wood to wood and foam to wood.
