Is there any reason to add a radiant barrier to any sip panel?
If you have a reason, please explain why.

I can think of no good reason for using a radiant barrier with SIPS.

If you want to spend more money on your house, go with thicker panels or a solar system.

House is already built. Just was not 100% certain that the SIP's removed all the proper solar radiant waves.

My opinion along with other sips builders I am associated with is that aluminum clad sips offer a double radiant barrier (built in)

Reddirt,
I would love to see the radiant barrier qualities of a metal SIP scientifically tested. I think this is an added advantage over other SIP skin materials, but I can't prove it because there are no studies I know of that have been documented.
Do you strictly use Aluminum skinned SIPs? If so, why don't you use steel sips?
