Howdy folks.

I am using a product that most of you have probably not heard of. It was patented by a group here in Alberta Canada. There are two companies using the same basic board and the ony difference between the two is the assembly.

Magboard or Magwall (newsippanel.com) or Titanwall are the two companies.

I have built with both and prefer the Magwall. Have a good look at this product t save yourself a bunch of time and money and it can be a DIY install if you have the time.

I am using it to build my own 3200 sq/ft two story with flat ceiling and vaulted as well. Very nice product to work with and assemble. Best of all your drywall is done on the inside of the exterior walls at the same time!

What testing has been done for toxicity, corrosive effects, etc?

As per the websites for both products.

There is Zero toxicity, and Zero flame spread, It is slighty corrosive to standard fasteners and requires the use of ACQ fasteners of any kind when installing the product. Totally 3rd party tested and pasted for construction in both Canada and the US.

1/2 hr fire rated and will remain intact and structural at that point. (Videos to watch if you have time on the websites).

Have a look at the newsippanel.com, magwallpacific, titanwall websites and you will get a lot more info than I can send you on here. Remember I am just a user of this product and really like it!!

Thanks, Rob.

Hi

This board as far as I know was not patened by them, they are just importing from China.
All three of those companies are the same.
They have to keep moving due to legal problems concerning ownership and and the product they are supplying.
If you want so good advice, stay as far away from any of those companies as you can.
Any business that Mr. Greg Kaschuk is invoved in, don't go near.

Good luck

Greg was a major player with the development of the board. Originally was with Titan and the split due to problems within. They are not the same company. Magwall has no affiliation with Titan. Greg has expanded Magwall to a Global company and they will be opening plants in multiple countries around they world. With the blessings of the UN.
He has been to my place numerous times to help me with my project and assembly of the product. I beleive that to be a sign of a guy with integrity and business savy!
I will try to get some pics up as soon as I can!

Rob.

Innova supplied me with MGO sips and loose MGO board for my Bahamas project. The MGO varied in hardness and texture from soft white chalky material through dull gray tough material to shiny gray to pinkish material which was extremely brittle. I am not sure the white board was actually MGO, it was very soft and chalky. The pink board could not be screwed off at the panel joints using the supplied screws without cracking the MGO. The shiny gray and pink material was very difficult to handle without breaking or cracking the skirts and corners.
