We're looking for a SIP builder in the Cincinnati OH area - project is in the engineering phase - and we're looking for someone who can take this project and run with it! Please respond in-kind with any contact information - as we're still looking for a builder to manage bringing our dream to reality! :) Many Thanks Micah

Our wall panels are built using 2x6 timbers in our shop using the best insulation available and the windows are pre-installed which provides a superior fit and seal to prevent heat loss. Our wall panels use the same insulation as the best SIP panels but provide superior strength and eliminate all the waste created from cutting into SIP panels to install windows. Contractors also prefer our panels because they are much easier and faster to install and don’t rely on glue, like SIPs, for installation.

Looks like they don't do SIPS, Just a panelized system. With a little bias thrown in to muddy the waters. They are also located in NH, as well as being timber-frame construction oriented. Not exactly what the OP was requesting.

I agree - While looking for someone to market themselves to me - I wasn't looking for an advertisement I've reported them. Still no OH SIP Builders? Still looking - Thanks In Advance for any leads! Micah

I found the site to be pretty funny.

Our wall panels use the same insulation as the best SIP panels but provide superior strength
Really? I hope they have structural tests backing up that statement.
and eliminate all the waste created from cutting into SIP panels to install windows.
Notice they did not bring up the waste created in standard stick construction. What is it, 15-20%?

Contractors also prefer our panels because they are much easier and faster to install and don’t rely on glue, like SIPs, for installation.
Or they prefer it because it is no different than what they have been using their entire career.  Just in a convinient container. Not to say it is not an effective building method, I have seen video clips of simular factory-assembled modular systems in europe.

Contact Louie at FischerSIPS in Louisville KY.

I would think he should be able to help you with a builder in the Cincinnati area.
Mention my name and tell him to play nice.

HA! I've chatted with them (Fischer SIPS) about our build. Unfortunately they're just a provider, and not a builder. I'm looking for someone who builds with SIPS. I've just found an architect today who not only knows SIPS, but is also currently building his own house out of SIPS, and has constructed a couple of buildings nearby with SIPS. He uses Porter SIPS out of Holland Michigan? (I think) - they're stuff seems to look good!? Thanks for the advice! :) Micah
