Has anyone used Solar tubes in their SIPS roof ? How do you like them?

A contractor friend of mine once asked me "Why would you want to put a hole in a perfectly good roof, if you don't absolutly need to?" While I like the look of skylights and solor light tubes, the damage I've seen from leaking roofs, condensation dripping from cheap skylights and solor tubes and heat loss, kind of makes me think that unless you absolutly want or need one, I would recommend not putting any extra holes in your roof. If you do decide to install one, cut no corners, follow all instructions to the letter, and make sure it's completly water proof and stay that way a long time.

Not too effective with short reflective shaft
