Anyone seeing an increase in commercial, institutional, government,  construction?  Looks like a lot of architects here are starting to spec ICF.
We are biding a motel, a electric co. building, and hear of a lot of schools and government buildings are going ICF. I am new to the form. I am a Logix  distributor for about 10 years and my son has an instillation company here in middle Tennessee. Hope to hear from all of you.

Have you seen/heard about the new school up at Bowling Green KY (Alvaton Elem.). There was a write up about it in the last ICF BUILDER mag. The school district has mandated all new construction will be ICF.

Recently the small Kansas town of Greensburg's city council passed a resolution that all government buildings be built to LEED platinum standards the first in the country. Doesn't mandate ICF construction, but could include it. There are several commercial ICF buildings going up. Ideal situation as the town is trying to rebuild after 95% of the town was destroyed by a tornado May 2007! Take a look http://greensburgks.org/

I had heard that Ky. was going to ICFs for schools and other government buildings. We are also biding an electric membership building here in Tn. If the electric co. is going ICF that should tell us something. We also had tornados here about two counties over. It almost wiped out Macon county.
