that much property you should look at horizontal. May I suggest you start your own thread on how best to design for your home?

apologies I didn't see we'd switched questioners.
Our are has 150'/ton of vertical but as mentioned, areas vary.
You can play all sorts of numbers games with mortgages, but the fact is the savings from geo is seldom less than the payment for it making it cheap or free, not expensive.

Personally, I would initially use my single well and only add another if I wasn't happy with it.

Your water doesn't have a hardness or iron problem.
