Does anyone know if you can connect a solar hot water heater to a radiant heat system.  I bought a house several years ago that was upgraded to forced air, but the baseboard radiators were never taken out.  I believe most of the piping lines are still intact with a few missing connections.  With the price of oil, I would like to switch over to a solar system.  Anyone know if this can be done with a solar hot water heater or two?

solar can be connected to radiant, but you are unlikely to get much out of it if it were sized for domestic. also, you need a low temperature heating system... not baseboard (typically, at least).
