I'm trying to find some vendors that carry solid wood flooring, to be used over Quik Trak radiant panels.  I prefer the look of birch or maple (not select), and I strongly prefer the look of plainsawn.  I realize quartersawn is preferred over radiant, I just don't like the uniform look.

The boards should be in the 3" - 3-1/4" width, and I'm leaning toward solid 3/8" flooring (lower R value), from someone like Launstein Floors.  However, they don't carry birch.

Does anyone have any other sources for birch or common maple in a 3/8" thickness?  Any other input is also appreciated.
