1100 sq feet garage. i am looking for an economical way to get the heat from the water into my garage. not going to install slab lines but a heat exchanger. where do i look for teh good ones. one with a fan i would think?

I'm not sure I understand what what you are asking. Do you already have hydronic heat in the house? What temp? Is your heat source of sufficient capacity to handle the added load?

yes, the system was designed with this heat load included. the unit is a 5 ton genesis water to water system. i will have storage system in house and plan to run loop to garage to heat it. i thought a rad / fan system would make the most sense. i have not looked at any yet though.

We have a couple of those here at work. Basically they just have a thermostat that opens a water valve at whatever it is set for and then a sensor close to the coil that kicks on a fan when it gets hot. They just run hot water through it. I have seen similar home made things using old car radiators with the attached 12v cooling fans, basically right out of a car. I don’t know where to get the professional ones, I have thought about using one of them on my incoming water line in summer, but never got around to actually finding one.
