I'm building a house for my family in CT, and have radiant heat in the basement slab.  I'm looking to finish part of the basement with a 5/16" laminated flooring product (Quick Step).  One of the options for the underlayment is "Sound Tight All in One" which has a vapor barrier and soundproofing qualities.

Does anyone have any advice regarding this combination, and/or other recommendations for underlayment with  laminated flooring?

Thanks.

The thickness of unerlay should be 2mm or 3 mm. The surface will be not flat enought to install laminated flooring if the underlay is too thick.
