I live near Tucson and after refilling my propane tank again I am thinking of going geothermal heat. Was wondering if anyone could offer any experiences, good or bad on doing this. I just went through the Tucson yellow pages for hvac and it was actually comical. At least they answered the phone though. Ever get a dumb look over the phone? 'Duuuuh we aint got none of that there stuff here'.  Geez, I am not impressed by the technical expertise of anyone I have talked to yet. Was hoping I could get some recommendations from someone who has already gone through this. I will appreciate any and all comments. Thank you. BTW My house is built on a slab. Would that be a hinderance? Thanks again

I looked here and  here and  here.

There is one contractor  listed there.

Geothermal  retrofit on a slab house has its challenges, but has been done before.

Good Luck,  let us know how it goes.
