Dewayne, I see from your charts ( http://welserver.com/WEL0114/ ) what appears that you're already running in Cooling mode (for the past approximately 8 days).  Can this really be true?

For example, LWT is now warmer that EWT, COP has gone negative, and Heat of Extraction has gone negative.  All indicators of cooling mode.

Are you really pumping A/C now?!  Just curious.

Best regards,

Bill

Bill,

No cooling yet...still winter weather here. We had snow yesterday.

I moved the LWT sensor when I was doing my solar to geo experiment. I need to go put it back on the right pipe

Dewayne, thanks.  I looked at your weather indicators and they didn't match your HVAC indicators, hence the question.

Here in Dallas we're starting to use a little cooling here and there.  We had a high of about 86 °F a few days ago.  Yesterday/today it's back to heating weather.

Best regards,

Bill

Oh, why don't you just rub it in... "...starting to use a little cooling here and there..."
as I sit here waiting for the next snow storm ready to hit tonight! (I really need to move south)
:o)

Maybe!

There was a past year in the summer time when we had something like 49 straight days of over 100+ °F.

Two years ago the lakes almost dried up, to the point that there was contemplation on halting residential and commercial development.

When I go out to run, in the summer, there are some days where it's not possible to find any time point, in a 24 hour day, where the dew point is below 80°.  It's still hotter than 90° after 11 PM, and RH is up so high at 6 AM that below 90° morning temps don't help any.

Be careful what you wish for!

Best regards,

Bill
