I have a tranquility 27. The unit has a 60 amp circuit fed from our basement sub-panel. The other 2 60amp circuits are for the resistance heat backup. Any idea how many amps the tranquity 27 (5 ton) and the geo loop pumps would use? I am just trying to get a rough idea as I have 100 amp sub-panel in the basement. I am looking to add lights and a home theater to my basement.

Likely far less than the heat strips.
The heat pump operating alone should leave plenty of the 100 amp subpanel's capacity available. The strips (backup resistance heat) are another matter. Both together may approach 100 amps, depending on # of KW of backup.
Loop pump load likely small compared to compressor and strips.
Any electrician or HVAC tech able to fog a mirror and equipped with a clamp ammeter should be able to measure (i.e. get data - see sig) and give better advice |

Unit FLA is 37. LRA is 118. Sounds like you have a 20 K aux. coil. Each circuit will draw ~ 40 amps at 230v. So you have about 117 amps with everything on. J |

The 20kw heat packs are wired to my main panel. The rest of the geo is on my sub-panel. Should for electrical budgeting perspective, roughly how many amps does the rest of the geo system use (blower, loop pump, compressor). |

Unit FLA includes blower et al (including DSH circulator at .4 amps, your flow center would be loosely twice that, or call it 1 amp). j |

The compressor amps will vary with temperatures. |

...and, it is to be hoped, generally well below FLA.
If the unit consumed FLA at nominal tonnage output then it would be running at a COP of about 2 or an EER of 7, assuming power factor fairly near unity, not good performance.
That said, if the unit is running and all 20 kw of heat strips are on, that 100 Amp subpanel is likely at or near max current so not much room for additional loads.

The circuits for the 20Kw strip heaters are fed off the main panel. |

If the 100 amp subpanel only runs the geo and not its aux strips then there should be plenty of capacity for basement additions |
