| I am a newbie, and really enjoy reading through all the forums here. Anyways....
I am interested in owner-building, and strongly considered ICF for its obvious benefits. I recently discovered this system: www.strataca.com, and became somewhat enamored by the strength and simplicity of the design.
Has anyone out there seen this before? What do you think? I wonder what a future buyer would think of a composite structure? |

| I'm looking at various systems including similar ones. The issue is local builder knowledge. You don't want to pay someone to learn a new system while they build your home. I think a quote from the strataca site was that a project costed 20% more than traditional methods. A tough number if true. Superior benefits but the cost has to be in line to take off. |

Slenzen,
I am curious as to what other types of systems you are interested in. How do they compare with the Strata system? |
