i wish i had found this forum a year ago, before i designed my house, looks like i will be spending hours and hours glued to the screen, what i have seen so far is top notch. currently livin in a old house in the country with hardly any insulation, heatin it with a 3.5 ton geothermal, open look, got 2 wells plumbed into the house, draw 4 to 6 GPM out of one and dump it in the other, been runnin good for 5 years, makin most of my hot water also (desuperheater) new house is supposed to be moved in next week, gotta ICF basement, puttin 2" polystyrene under the basement slab, radiant heat. got some CPI pex from Menards, hope its good. heatin the slab with a 2 ton geo unit, heating/cooling the main floor with a 3-ton forced air unit, the 3 ton will have a desuperheater that will warm up a 85 gallon Rheem Marathon tank (solar hot water comin next year) and then a Stiebel 29kw instant water heater down stream.  main floor walls are 6" with another 1.5" of polyiscurnate board on the outside. triple pane argon low e windows, R50 in the attic. got some questions, but i'll post in the appropriate forum.  thanks for having me, hopefully i can contribute some of my experience.
