Loved them. Had 2 back in late 90's when I quit working with sticks. Still have my impulse trim nail-er though.

Yes, they where even though there a little tepremental in cold whether. Durring breaks we would take the butane out and place in our coat pockets or place in warming box.

Paslodes are great framing guns as long as you aren't handing them off to $20/hr framers - they'll either drop 'em and break the plastic frame or won't take 5 minutes to clean them so they'll jam. For a guy building his own place, they can get you happily cordless for not much more than the price of a good air framing gun... The last time I checked, tripping/falling on your own air hose was one of the top 5 causes of death for framers - how stupid but how easy to do. Building in Illinois you won't have to worry much about the cold weather problems - walltech is right on there.

I'll never go back to the Hammer if I don't have to. I'm deaf now but happy. Just kidding wear hearing/eye/head protection !!! A Must even for one nail!!!!!!!!!

My battery fell out of my gun and as a result it hit the floor and the tab broke off. Nothing that Crazy glue can't fix.

Also, the Gun jams when it gets semi-dirty. Every 5-10k nails I take her apart and clean the piston with rags and oil her up.

DO NOT LOAN THIS GUN to ANYONE! YOU WILL BE 100% Liable by the court!!!!
Take your battery with you! They can't use it if you hang it on a ladder.

Unfortunately, Idiots nail directly downward in 1/4 plywood missing the studs/joist or Sheetrock for god sakes!!!!!!!!!!! while (someone) is in the line of fire. Again, let them use hammers!!!!!!
