Which would cost less?

I want to build a three story home on a slab. I would like the floors the be steel decking with about 1.5” of concrete over steel joists.

Would it be cheaper to build using steel sips OR a steel frame with magnesiacore on the exterior, open cell spray insulation and then sheetrock on the interior walls?

Either way the exterior would be stuccoed using something like stuccoflex

Thank you,

Shawn

Why not use Fiber Cement Board panels that can do all this?  Also these panels have the Florida building code and an International Code Council Approval.  You can also get them with a stucco look on the outside.

So it would be cheaper with materials and labor to put up a steel frame, cover it and the floors with Fiber Cement Board panels and then spray in the insulation rather than using steel sips?

You don't need steel frames and the foam core provides great insulation. You can use panels to build the floors, exterior/interior walls and roof which gives you the energy saving envelope of the house. You eliminate quite a bit of labor because you don't need a lot of framing and insulation work. You can build on a slab, crawl space, or even a "low country" type house up off the ground. You can build up to 3 stories without a steel frame. It sounds too simple but it is an extremely durable building system. There are several good SIPS builders out there however we use fiber cement board instead of OSB. It is a very "green product".

Great Answers.
You can use panels to build the floors. You can use a system with Steel Framed Construction with Studs 16" on center with foam insulation and Hardie Board on your exterior wall. You can use the same frames and either Sheet Rock the Interior Walls or use Vaneer Plaster Blue Board for your interior walls...It's cheaper than using HArdie Board on the Interior Walls....

We had plans sealed for a 3 story home with an elevator in Osceola County Florida. We were using Truss System for the Floors(Steel) and a Concrete Slab for the Structural Strength. We were using Steel 6" foam insulated SIPs for the Roof to Insulate the home.
