I would like to build some ICF houses and would like to have roofs that are as fire resistant and energy efficent as the walls. Does anyone have any experience with any concrete roof systems? I would like to do a roof with a 12/12 slope if possible. Is there any way to fasten metal roofing over concrete roof systems? Thanks.

we have built several paneldeck concrete roofs, most flat, some with 4/12 slope. these were pumped and poured with regular 4000 psi concrete, 6/7" slump.
12/12 will need to be shot-creted, somewhat like a swimmingpool. as to fastening a metal roof, i think you may need some metal or p/t furring strips/stringers fastened with tap-cons or such, that will meet wind uplift requirements, as per local codes.

Try looking into the 3D Tridipanel system that is advertised on this site.

OK- how about a hint as to where 3D Tridipanel is hiding. I can't find them and the search function seems to only search the forum. Thanks.

Boy was that exhausting. After doing a complete search under every category under the search options on this site, I could not find
3D Tridipanel anywhere. It happened to roll up on the rotating banner at the top of the page
which you can click on to get to their web site.
The company is Hadrian Tridipanel who aren't even listed under find a professional or under maufacturers or anywhere. It seems that someone who would take a banner ad out would be listed on this site and much easier to find. It took me about an hour to finally dig up the information.
