The lot has a four foot slope from corner to corner so a slab wouldn't be very practical. I maybe should have done a basement, but that would have been contrary to the secondary requirement of being fully accessible for a wheel chair or walker.

I rented the system from my block supplier/long distance consultant. It's a combination of 10' and 12', and all steel. The 10' have vertical channels in a 'C' shape. The 12' verticals are a flared 'U' shape.
