All -
I am a builder doing a modular townhouse project in Rhode Island, and we would like to use ICFs for our basements.  Can anyone recommend an experienced contractor in the area?  Also, with simple modular units, what kinds of costs should I expect?
Thanks -

Well, I don't know that end of the country too well...but try Brian Dexter 603.378.0110 or 978.499.9444 I want to say he is close to you and can get you set up

Give Green Building Solutions a call at 603-783-9024. We have a project going like this and would be glad to talk further with you.

While I don't know of a builder up there, I wanted to throw in my 2 cents. If you are going to build townhomes, I have always recommended that ICFs be seriously considered for you demizing walls between units. They would allow for your fire rating, be very easy to put up, make for an easy way to apply sheetrock, and most importantly dramatically reduce the sound between units, which would be an added selling point.

I realize that it is somewhat off topic, but something that I thought could prove helpful.

Any particular reason you don't want to do them yourself inhouse?

I trained someone late last summer in RI outside of providence and they took to it like a duck and water!

I'm design/build in CT if interested.
