I read about folks talking about an R-60 roof.

Using SIPS, even 12" for the roof, you will not approach R-60.

For ultra insulated roofs, are you usinf a standard truss system with really thick spray foam?

Our 12" EPS/steel SIPs are - R-51, urethane SIPs would make R-60 with 9"

Thanks Chris,

I had originally had 12" EPS in my head. Is this kind of like whole wall R-value (4" SIP outperforming 6" Fiberglass studded wall) comparisons?
