I'm looking for a construction detail for a conventional framed porch roof attached to a SIP wall/roof.  In other words, the porch roof (4/12 pitch) transitions to the house SIP roof (10/12 pitch).  The porch is about 10 feet deep beyond the exterior house wall.  Would you typically use mono trusses or common frame with rafters and ceiling joists?  How is either connection made to the OSB SIP wall?

Believe me, I've searched through a few manufacturer construction details and still can't find it.  It's further complicated by the fact that I'm not a framer by trade.

Any help?

As a side note, I've been using this board for the past few weeks and really appreciate all the knowledge shared, whether it relates to wood or steel SIPS. Ha.
