Hi we are very much wanting to build our home with SIP's in the upstate of South Carolina but I am having a hard time locating someone with that experience. Given the implications for wiring and HVAC I am concerned they would err to the high side on costs since they would not be familiar with the modified techniques and sizing for HVAC.

I am talking to a ICF builder and may perhaps go that route but would like to talk with a SIP's builder installer to get a better feel for the overall cost implications.

I would appreciate any input.

thanks

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and am building a home in Maggie Valley, WNC. I found a great SIP manufacturer and distributor, who's office is in Asheville. Contact Craig Payne, www.Eco-Panels.com, cpaynerpro@yahoo.com, or 828/450-8540. They would be able to help you. There product is one of the best SIPs I've seen yet.

We are out of Orlando, Florida and we have a unique building system using Steel stud foam insualated panels with Hardie Board on both sides.  We also use Steel SIPS for the roof.

We have a GC who would be happy to work with you on building your home.
Please email me for pictures?
