MegeShelters

I don't think that US companies need to worry too much about this! ;)  At least not yet!

For the Low-Low price of $14,620 you too can own this fine example of modular residential construction.  Of course, there is the fact that all of the cuts and openings must be made in the field, and on top of that, you have to live in something that looks like this:

$14 000 for that. Hmmm, not for me. But I will laugh at the first one I see :)

Naive! Chinese build these junk for you guys. don't forget they export this ~@*& to you, but don't live in. Go there and take a look. all high rise buildings like NYC. not junky american wood house.

I've been there numerous times so I'm not naive enough to believe this nonsense.  The truth is they don't buy these things themselves because they cannot afford them (let alone a large american home).  There are probably more cardboard boxes and lean-to's than high rises.  The high rises have apartments much smaller than anything you would find here and even then you don't really own it (90 some year leases).  Only a fool thinks it is a better standard of living in China.

I see you cherry-pick the best pictures of Chinese cities.  You even manage to pick a day where the smog has cleared enough to see the buildings.  You spew propaganda like a communist party hack.  When you have a billion people living at a subsistence level (at best) you can afford to have these millions living like kings at their expense.  Lucky you appear to at least be a lower level king.  As they like to say everyone is equal.  -Some are just more equal than others.

Perhaps you could explain to me the party line on the benefit of "owning" your house but not the land.  How does that benefit you when the government clears their land of your house to make way for a new project.  But I'm sure that never happens in "China the land of superior home construction." ;-)

Speaking of your latest rant isn't oil the reason China supports genocide in Africa.  -Or perhaps those news tidbits don't make it to your papers.

The little kings I knew in Beijing, Shanghei, and Guangzhou made it that way on western company payrolls.  I would assume your the same given that you were allowed to travel to California.  I bet it is tough living in the middle kingdom, knowing your country's history and manifest destiny, learning Chairman Mao's infinite wisdom, and still being so dependant on the rest of the "inferior" world.

I know at this point this thread has no relation to SIPS but it is greatly entertaining.  To further that end perhaps you could share with me another version of the Hainan Island incident.  I can never get enough of hearing how a propeller airplane rear ended a fighter jet.  Perhaps you could solve the riddle.  Was it just bad flying or lying?  I look forward to your response.
